"from the chronograph to the stop watch" read the slogan
of the student exchange of this year with the only Danish watchmakerschool
in Ringsted. On Sunday, we were allowed to already take the nordic
attendance to the 14.01.2007 for the third time in receipt. The
ten days with long spent we with the Skeletation of the rotor and
the bridges of the chronographen Cal. 7750. Finish work were further
made depending upon discretion of the particular at this work. Naturally
it stood also in our interest to be good hosts and we provided a
small leisure plan. Apart from the attendance of a play of the Dresdner
ice lions ( Ice Hockey)we visited the historical " Grüne Gewölbe".
For us however the trip was to Denmark of higher interest. Other
country, other culture and another instruction system. In order
to become a watchmaker in Denmark, requires it a four years old
training period, whereby the students work mainly in the business
of their masters and spend only 10 weeks per year in the school.
On the part of the school line and our teacher we were received
very cordially. The Danish students led us by the complex and appeared
our jobs for the next ten days. Altogether the work was twice installed:
While the initial assembly have we us with the attitude of various
interferences, plays, which pointer setting and a bowls concern,
whereby the secondary assembly served the fine adjustment. Beside
the technical program we could enjoy about a outstanding hospitableness.
Handball and attendance in Copenhagen were not only ordered us,
but also private cook inserts of our hosts. We thank you quite cordially
all and we hope that all future students of Lange ones the chance
to likewise receive, to be allowed to maintain such good contacts
and friendships. students of the class 2004
